Support Us

As a non-profit association, the Akademie zur Förderung physiochemischer Nachhaltigkeit e.V. (Academy for the Advancement of Physiochemical Sustainability, Academy) is required to treat economic interests as secondary and to give top priority to the common good, especially in the form of the purposes listed in the statutes (promotion of sustainable research and education; promotion of art and culture; public health care). Consequently, our work is not monetarily oriented. Nevertheless, in order to be able to maintain our range of services and our work within the Academy and thus also within the AHI in accordance with our high qualitative standards to the usual extent, we are dependent on support in the long term.

In the future we want to continue to:

– offer our services and content largely free of charge, to reach and many people as possible;
– remain independent of economic donors and thus be able to work and research independently;
– grow with the AHI and the Academy, and be able to explore new possibilities and pathways.

As a Non-Profit Organization acknowledged by German law, we are entitled to issue donation receipts, which can be presented to the German tax office in the tax return. Up to a total amount of 300 Euro, a simple copy of the payment confirmation(s) is sufficient. Should you nevertheless wish to receive a donation receipt or transfer a larger amount, please send us your address details via email. Your donation receipt will then be sent to you in February of the following year, either by mail or email.

The process is even easier with a Supporting Membership: your regular donations are automatically assigned to your person and you will receive a donation receipt for all contributions made during the year.
